I made this a while ago, but wasn't sure how I felt about it and didn't know if I should pester you guys for help or not.
I was trying to make a bobble head that actually looked like it was bobbling, rather than the head just moving up and down on the body. *hopes you know what she means* I'm not sure how to pull it off exactly...? The animation is rather slow, as I was told the original speed could give people seizures. I'm not sure if I handled the ears okay. I wanted them to move forward, but wasn't quite sure how to pull it off. It might look kinda floppy now, which I was told could add to it, but I'm not sure if it looks good or not. Also, I tried making the head bobble to the side a bit too, but deciding how far it should move and the pattern of the movement is a bit difficult. So I only posted a version of it going up and down. I'm also not sure if there should be more movement, as most real bobbleheads tend to only move a little bit up and down. But then, it might be better for graphics to have more drastic movements. I don't know... Sized at 50 x 50, so it can be used as an avatar. 8D This one belongs to my sibling though, so please don't use it. I want to try to make people bobbleheads too, but I have a hard time drawing people. If all goes well, I was thinking about offering these as commissions, if anyone was interested. For like $1-3 each (depending on the animation and work involved). But I don't know... Any tips, suggestions, etc, would be really appreciated! ( But please don't feel like you have to comment. ) I'm all nervous and stuff. Character and Design belongs to *WondersSecret / ~aqua-cat Artwork © Tha Phantom Panther ( ~phantompanther ) |

I really love it. You are getting good at making aquacat.
I think the issue with the head is that, when I picture bobbleheads I see a series of fast short nods rather than long slow ones, but since it might hurt peoples eyes, I'm not really sure what to do with that.

Perhaps, but I'm not sure about animating too much for the bobbleheads, as they usually only have the heads move. But for other things, I'd definitely consider animating the tail, even if it is a pain.
I was actually working on something that involved tail animation (for a different project), but it appears that I lost the work on the tail movement. I'm still looking for it.

Yeah, me too. I wasn't sure what to do about it either.
