Pixel Art - Zoo Logo 01

Heh, sometimes I think about doing a zoo rp (one in which we write back and forth). I think about how fun it can be and...how boring. I like to think about the animals and how to design the exhibits and whatnot (floorplans are fun!). While I was thinking about it, I decided the zoo needed a logo. I wasn't quite sure what to do for the logo and just sorta picked two animals that I thought would be good to represent it. At first my choices were two wild cats.... Then I somehow decided upon a zebra... And yeah. Now this isn't a very good logo, and I doubt I'll actually do a whole zoo rp, but I thought it would be good for pixel art practice.

I did the jaguar first. I usually draw cats (what are suppose to be cats anyway) and liked how it turned out. Then it hit me that I had no idea how to draw a zebra and that *Dun dun duuuunnnn!* zebras are like horses. I can't draw horses. I almost gave up on the zebra, but ~aqua-cat and ~revell gave me encouragement and tips and I continued to work on it. At first, the zebra looked really bad and I disliked it, but now I like it a lot more than the jaguar (who's body is super fugly). I'm not sure how that works, but okay. I gathered a few photos of both animals to use as a reference (and boy did I need it for the zebra). Anyway, it's not the best, but it was good practice for me.

The green part is really bad, I know... To be honest, I didn't really care about it, heh.
